Luscious black and blue Chinese Qing robe made with a fine black brocade featuring longevity signs and Wan symbols. Silk Wan symbols are featured around the neck, cuffs, and edges made of black and blue silk. Exquisitely hand sewn. Masterful crafted with beautiful silk butterfly button work. The pictures do not do this piece justice. Split up both sides with more beautiful applied silk work. Features a handy front pocket hidden inside robe.
One piece of a large collection of original antique Chinese garments. These all came from one Estate original owner who came to Denver Colorado in 1901 from China.
Measurements:
56" long from sleeve end to sleeve end, 38" from the top of the back collar to the bottom of garment, 33 1/2" from top of front collar to bottom of garment.
Condition:
Excellent condition for the age of this piece. No visible tears, rips and staining. Stored carefully in the darkness for many years.
