Description
Antique Leather Indian Pants Postcard Coin Purse. Condition is "Used". Shipped with USPS First Class. As you can see from ink writing under kiss lock clasp, this is from Henryetta Indian Territory which was in Oklahoma. From what I've read, that area was home to Creek Nation, who originally resided in southeast America but forced to move to Oklahoma during the 1800's. Addressee, addressor and postmark date are rather faded. To me, it appears that it was addressed to (someone, name I can't quite make out) The Candy Kid on the left leg. On the right leg, it may say Jose the Light. I think if I had a more powerful magnifying glass I could make it out. As you can see the leather and clasp are in very good shape especially considering the age. This is a great piece! I'm going to do a little more research on this and post later. Domestic buyers pay .00 insured USPS shipping.
