Illinois 1776 / 1976 Bicentennial License Plate Pair CF 2855 red, white, & blue

Description

Offered for sale is a pair of 1776 / 1976 Illinois license plates celebrating 200 years for the USA.  The number CF 2855 is on the bicentennial red, white and blue designed plates.  Illinois staged a design competition for these 1976 plates and this is the winning design.  The plates feature an arch of stars at the top and bottom center and the customary Land of Lincoln at the bottom with red stripes over the face of the plate.  The plates are in good used condition with wear as shown on the pictures.  The face of the plates have a mix of road wear, aging, and bug dings.  There are mild bends on the plates and minor rust on the back.as shown.  This is a standard size car plate measuring approximately 12” x 6”.  The pictures show the actual plates you will receive. The specially designed plates have great colors, lay flat, and are in collectible condition.  This would look great hanging in a garage, make a great birthday present for someone born in 76, or use for whatever purpose that can be imagined.
