This is an
ORIGINAL SANDERSON BRITISH PATTERN 1907 WORLD WAR I & WWII BAYONET
(Inv. No 0355) It has a 17 inch blade and is 21 3/4 inches long. It is marked on one side of the ricasso broad arrow, CROWN over ?? over sideways E X CROWN over ?? over sideways E. The other side is marked CROWN gr 1907 10 '18 SANDERSON. The side of the pommel has an arrow in a circle and there si a 3 ? on the tang. This bayonet was for the Lee-Enfield MK III rifle and used in both WWI and WWII. The bayonet is in very good to fine condition with minor signs of age and use.
