    Description

    Original WWI Period U.S. Infantry dress collar badge.  2nd Regiment, Company "M".  Gilt.  3" wide by 2" high.  Prong back fasteners to the reverse.  Issued from 1905 to the beginning of WWI when the dress blue uniform was discontinued.  Those who had the dress blue, and the badges were allowed to wear them into the early 1920s.
