Sm Mexican Bag Morral Mayan Gold & Gray Larrainzar Hand Woven on Backstrap Loom

I just returned from Chiapas where I purchase a number of these small Morral / Bags.  They are
all hand woven by Tzotzil Mayan women of San Andrés Larrainzar.
This Morral 7 inches wide by 7 inches tall and has a 1 1/2 inch Flap.  the braided strap is 48 inches long.
This particular bag is a lovely color combination and is a
nice small size, for when you only need to carry your phone and a few other items.
It is a really lovely little bag and has a wonderful ethnic Hippie, Boho Chic feel to it!
This is a Win Win scenario. You get to own a beautiful hand woven bag, and support these Mayan women save their cultural heritage and traditions.
This piece was hand woven on a back strap loom and hand woven with traditional images from Mayan culture on the front and it is plain on the back side.
This is a wonderful example of Mexican Folk art, and is a very reasonable price for the amount of work that has gone into creating it!
