    Cool piece of history.  My friend purchased a collection of bayonets and knives but doesn't use the internet much, so I'm listing a few for him.  The prior owner tagged much of his collection, and this knife/bayonet is tagged with good info.  The information has not been verified but I think he knew his stuff as he had a HUGE collection.  This piece is hefty and feels good in the hand...no telling what all it has seen in it's life - I'm sure at least one world war if not two!  The locking mechanism doesn't work and there is no sheath.  The knife has rust, scratches, dings, sharpening marks, etc. - see the photos.
