Vintage Mini 1963 Illinois License Plate DAV Keyring Fob

This original 1963 mini Illinois, Land of Lincoln, dark green/yellow license plate to be used as a keyring fob is in good vintage condition with wear on back.
Under government contract, the Disabled American Veterans, DAV, sent these mini versions of real license plates to the registered owners.  Donations were accepted but not mandatory and the service included a way to recover lost keys.  Keys that were found could be placed in any US mailbox and they would be returned to their owner.
This 1963 license #BR 4020 measures 1 1/4" long x 1/2" wide.
