Description

Vintage 80s Long, Maxi Mexican Dress.  From Puerto Vallarta, 1982.  Never Worn.  One of a kind.
Beautiful design.  Nice workmanship.
About a Large - XL.  See measurements.
Entirely hand made.  Fabric is hand woven and embroidery was done by hand.
Tie Tassels at front & back necklines and sleeves.  Can tighten or loosen these areas.
Fabric is either 100% Cotton or a Cotton & Linen Blend.  It is natural; undyed.
I believe the yarn is a crewel wool.  Bright fuchsia pink and black.
No labels in the dress.
Some minor imperfections on the fabric.  There are 3 or 4 small brown age spots.  They are the size of dots and are not noticeable as you are so taken away by the artwork.  Two dots are close together near the right side seam.  See Last Photo.  One is at the side of the front design, near hip level (photo 5).  There is also a faint, grayish smudge on the back that I'm sure will wash out.  I must have brushed the dress against something.  In summary, unless you are up close looking for imperfections, these will go unnoticed.
Measurements:
Length from shoulder:  approx.  56"  (pretty easy to shorten as, as there is no embroidery here)
Width between underarm seams:  approx. 22"  Dress is cut straight...stays about 22" wide all the way down.
Width across bottom hemline:  approx. 23"
