WWI / WW1 German Army Bayonet, WWI German Butcher Bayonet with Scabbard, Dated 1918, Complete, Very Nice Condition.
All Original World War I German Army, WWI German Military Rifle Bayonet, WWI German Butcher Blade Bayonet, Complete with matching steel scabbard.
The WWI German Butcher Bayonet is in very nice condition and is manufacture marked “CHTEL & SACHS, SCHWEINFURT”.
The original wooden handles are if very nice condition and have no cracks or damage.
The Blade is in very nice condition and has the manufacture markings on one side of the Blade.
The top of the Bayonet Blade is also manufacture marked with 2 small Crowns, the number “18” and a letter (see pictures).
The barrel locking mechanism in the handle works perfectly.
The original matching steel scabbard is complete and has a dent on one side.
The Bayonet Blade measures 14 5/8” inches in length.
The entire Butcher Bayonet measures about 19 ¾” inches in length.
The Bayonet is nice and tight with no looseness and fits nice and tightly into its Scabbard.
