Description

WWI Imperial German M1889 Officer's Sword. Measuring 36" overall with a blade length of 30". Bright chromed blade with double dual fullers on each side, very nice. Unmarked ricasso and spine. Red felt buffer pad. Brass hilt with hinged cross-guard depicting the Regal Insignia of the Prussian Empire. Wire wrapped ray-skin handle with Regent's coat of arms insignia. Ray skin worn through to wood in scattered places. The handle has looseness. Steel scabbard with single suspension ring showing brown/rust patina with original black finish.
