This listing is for a WWI era United States Navy presentation sword. Blade is finely engraved and retailer marked Military 2 Naval supply co New York N.Y... Blade is also marked M.M. Maxwell .  Guard is marked USN . Original Portepee knot attached to handle. Leather and gold gilded scabbard is in two pieces but repairable .
Age - ca 1918
Size - 38 1/2 long
Condition - Very good with the blade showing wear and imperfections . Handle slightly loose & scabbard in two pieces. See pictures
